Pigmented Lesions
Sun spots, or solar lentigines, are gray or brown spots located on areas of the skin that have been exposed to the sun.

Although 90% of light skinned people over the age of 60 develop this condition, only two in ten consult a dermatologist about it. Many people think that the spots are a natural part of aging and therefore untreatable, but in fact they can be treated.

Mechanism of Action
BBL BroadBand Light technology and MicroLaserPeel (MLP) treat sun-damaged and aging skin effectively. The light energy delivered by the BBL will gently be absorbed by the unwanted melanin responsible for pigmented lesions in the upper layers of the skin. Over the next few days the pigmented lesions will darken and fall off. MicroLaserPeel works differently. It is an intra-epidermal laser peel that precisely remove the outermost layers of the skin. Pigmented lesions can be removed by full-face or spot-treat superficial resurfacing. Either procedure allows patients to experience quick recovery with smoother, healthier, more vibrant skin, and an immediate change in skin texture and tightness.
